All Work and No Play?

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

You have to take time for recreation, did you know that? Yep, it’s a proven, scientific, medical fact that your body needs recreation to deal with stress. If you’re all work and no play, then let’s consider a recreational sport that I’ve always wanted to get into.

Ever heard of paintball? Yes, that “game” where you and possibly a team take on another team … with paintball guns shooting paint pellets. Next to being in the military and playing real war games, I can’t think of anything quite as exciting as this sport. In fact, in some ways, it’s more exciting than in the military, because half the time the MILES (Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System) didn’t work right. Okay, it actually sucked. With paintball, there’s no denying if you’ve been clobbered!

While doing research into this great pasttime, I found what could be the ultimate resource for paintball materials and supplies. The name of the site is Ultimate Paintball, and it looks like they carry everything you would ever need, and then some. From Smart Parts to Draxxus paintball gear and spyder paintball guns, this site is loaded. Let’s put it this way: when I get ready to gear up for paintball, I know where I’m going for my supplies!

Holy Tooth Pain Batman!

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

Have you ever experienced the loss of a filling? I have, and let me tell you from experience, it can be a real pain in the … mouth. I had a filling come out of one of my lower right molars that had been in there for 15+ years. Once I realized it was out, I was immediately concerned. There was pain when food would get into the now gaping hole in my tooth, and touch the nerves down in there… ouch! Keeping food and water out was pretty much impossible.

I wish I had known then what I know now. There is product out there on the market called Dentemp OS that helps to repair loose caps and lost fillings. This stuff looks great. It isn’t something you have to mix up (I tried that - it didn’t work). This product hardens in about 60 minutes to the point that you can eat on it. Now that’s something to talk about there! Now keep in mind that this is not a permanent solution, it is only a temporary dental repair process. You will need to go see a dentist. However, this re-sealable container has enough of this stuff in it to do up to six treatments.

So if you are in pain with a loose cap or lost filling, you need to check out Dentemp OS. It could literally put you out of your misery!

New Program In Beta … Sign Up Now!!!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

OK, I don’t usually jump on the bandwagon of new start-up programs. In fact, I’m not so hot on programs, even if they’ve been around a while. However, I recently came across this in the forums of another site where I do some freelance writing, and thought it looked fairly interesting.

After reviewing the site and the way it is setup, I think it has a lot of potential. Basically it’s a product review site, done in Web 2.0 style. Take ePinions, and then add it some vendor advertising and revenue sharing with the peer-rated and screened reviews. That’s the basics behind Shared Reviews.

Now they haven’t announced what their payout structure will be yet as far as when the site actually goes live. However, they are in the middle of ramping up during beta and aquiring a few thousand reviews so they will have some content when they go live. They are paying premium dollar for this content … $10 for every 5 reviews approved. This is a good price, and I’m sure this won’t be the same scale as the payout after launch, but we shall see. So, my point is, you should sign up now, while in beta, to get the up-front big money for these reviews! In addition, by getting your reviews in now, you will have a good base of reviews to earn revenue sharing off of when the site does it’s official launch!

Digital Cameras Rock!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

I love digital cameras. You want to know why? You can preview the picture before you move on. I can’t tell you how many times I would get a roll of 35mm film developed, only to have crappy pictures. With a digital camera, there’s no good excuse! Before the event or person you are photographing moves on, you can review the picture you took and take another one. That way, when you decide to use those new digital photo frames on the market, you won’t be embarrased because they won’t be filled with poor pictures. One quick word of advice though … to get the best pictures of any event, take the most photos.

Freeze Frame: A Video Review

Friday, September 28th, 2007

OK, this is my first “official” video post! I’m doing a quick review of the Freeze It gel. It’s great for use with topical pain relief. Don’t believe me? Just check out this great review ;-) :

Joel Comm’s Latest Joint Venture

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

I don’t know if you’ve been keeping track or not, I know that I wasn’t.  A while back I noted here on my blog that I dropped a ton of e-mail lists that I was subscribed to, mainly to reduce the amount of garbage in my Inbox.  Well, slowly but surely that pile has reincarnated itself.  But this isn’t about that.

I was surfing through my available PayPerPost opportunities this evening, when I ran across this opportunity listing:

Reality TV - The Next Internet Millionaire is the world’s first competitive Internet reality show

Well, I just had to check this out, even though the opp already had it’s max number of participants.  So I went on over to www.nextinternetmillionaire.com to see what the buzz was all about.  Turns out that Joel Comm has his latest joint venture going on in a reality TV style online “show” to select … you guessed it, his next JV partner!!!

I have to admit, being selected to be a JV partner with Joel Comm would really be cool, but here’s the big deal about the site.  Each episode seems to have another Internet marketing expert come on and give some info about marketing and building an online business.  This is where it really gets useful for you and I, staying at home.  While we haven’t been selected to participate on the show, we can glean some knowledge from the guest experts about the IM game.  Tonight’s guest was none other than Brad Fallon.

OK, I’m hooked.  I’ll be watching the rest of these as they progress, and reviewing the previous episodes.  Now this is reality TV that I can get into!!!

Freeze Pain In Its Tracks

Friday, September 14th, 2007

Do you ever get that joint or muscle pain that just nags on you after a rigorous day of activities? How about maybe aggravating an old injury area that has never come back up to par, or perhaps you’ve got arthritis?

Wouldn’t it be nice to freeze pain right in its tracks? Well, now you can do just that. I know, I know, there are a lot of products on the market that say that, but I’ve just found out about one that is different. It’s called Freeze It, and it’s put out by Perfecta Products, Inc. out of North Lima, Ohio. Now, at first sight, this might appear to be just like any other topical analgesic creme (or gel - it comes in both forms). However, it has some very distinguishing features.

First off, it doesn’t look like most other gels or cremes, which are usually white. Instead, Freeze It is actually a greenish color. It contains several ingredients which were of interest to me, as someone who prefers a natural remedy to a synthetic chemical one. It has camphor, an herbal extract called ILEX paraguariensis, aloe, and vitamin E. Now out of all of these, the ILEX really peeked my interest. I discovered that ILEX is an extract from a shrub grown in South America, and it has actually been used by native indians in Paraguay to enhance the effects of their medicines for centuries.

My Freeze It Shoulder Pain

Well, I tried it out. I’ve got a shoulder that bothers me from an injury I sustained several months ago, as well some wrist strain from typing transcription work. So I applied it to my hands, wrists, and my left shoulder today. While the smell of the camphor is pretty strong at first, it does seem to fade with time after application. As for the feel of the gel, it was very sticky to the touch immediately after application, but became non-sticky after complete absorption into the skin, which took about 5 minutes. I did wash the palms of my hands, as I didn’t want to take a chance on getting my keyboard mangled. The pain has diminished significantly in both my shoulder and my wrist. The vapors from the gel do seem to be a little irritant to the eye, so be sure and cover up with a shirt if the location where you are applying the gel is close to your head.

Overall, I think this product has a lot of merit. I did a little price comparison, and it is definitely competitively priced in it’s market. So the next time you’re out to freeze pain in it’s tracks, head out to your local pharmacy and request Freeze It. If they don’t have it in stock, tell them they should get it!

I Got Paid!

Friday, June 29th, 2007

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is true!  I’ve now been made an official content producer for Associated Content.  They have approved my first submission to them, and have made me an offer I just could not refuse.  Ok, well, I could have refused it, but then I wouldn’t be getting paid, now would I?

They offered me $3.12 for an article that was already used, and had been published on another blog of mine for over a year.  Not too bad, I think.

Forget about GoogleCash … AdspyPro is a MUST GET!!!

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

A few weeks back I posted an article and some links to info about Chris Carpenter’s newest incarnation for his Google Cash program.  Today, I am telling you that this principle works, but that the software is available MUCH CHEAPER!

It’s a different software called Ad Spy Pro, and it blows the doors off of the competition.  You can see all the details and many, many testimonials over at the site:

AdSpy Pro

Let me just say that I give this program two thumbs up!  I got it several weeks ago in pre-launch from a special offer in the Warrior forums.  The price has gone up since the launch, and I dare say it should go up!  This software will literally save you hundreds of dollars in “testing” on adwords, as you will see EXACTLY what ads are pulling in the profits.  It’s simply a matter of spying on the competition, and re-creating their profitable advertising campaigns.

To YOUR Success,

Michael
