In fact, this blog is all about my life. What I do, what I have learned, what I have become, and what I think, and where I’m headed.
I invite you to subscribe via the universal RSS feed or by e-mail (see options in the sidebar on the right). You will get something daily, at least that is the plan, since I plan on posting daily. Just consider it your own little insight into my life: sometimes it resembles a sitcom, sometimes a drama series, sometimes a classic tragedy - you never know just what you’ll get! But one thing is for sure … it will be REAL, from the heart, from an East Texas husband and father of three.
Work hard, play hard, and write hard … that’s the plan. Just remember this … a country boy can survive.

PS - I think I should put a disclaimer on here that I do intend to earn some income from this blog. As you will notice you will find Google Adsense on the site. In the future I plan on adding Amazon.com affiliate links, Text Link Ads, and Kocera ads. You will also notice that I am participating in a program called Pay-Per-Post (PPP). They pay you to write up a post about an advertiser’s product and/or service. While some PPP advertisers only want positive posts, I only write for those who allow a balanced review. This allows me the freedom to be real, and write a positive or negative post, depending on how I really feel. While some people in the blogosphere continue to feel that this is a bad business model, it is paying some bills, and I still have the ability to retain the composure and viewpoint on the article or post in question. I consider it more of a pay-per-review journalistic approach, where I can pick and choose the assignment I wish to review.
